Chris Ireson is an absolute master of his craft. Fast paced and graphic the detail in this novel is great. I found myself thinking about this book so often when I wasn't reading it. The heroine Anastacia is courageous and immensely likeable and when I finished the book I felt as though I had lost a friend.

I am looking forward to the next instalment - a sequel would be great!
